Ages 6-12
Our adventures in the forest will help us develop wayfinding and orienteering skills. It will ask us to move quickly and lightly. The forest will expect us to accept challenges and it will reward us with adventures unknown and opportunities to play, explore, create, forage and build. We will climb trees, sprint on faint paths, scramble over boulders, balance on fallen trees. We will find places to hide and places to play group games; places to make a joyful noise and places to be quiet. We will explore our senses and seek magic and wonder. Coaches David Reid and Jenny Ivany will follow, facilitate and allow participants to inhabit their Selves, their island and their role as play experts.
