A synopsis of the weather systems that have the most impact on our boating enjoyment and safety; review of where to get reliable Marine weather forecasts, BEFORE setting out and WHILE on the water; along with identification of weather hazards such as wind and waves, visibility (fog), and low pressure systems. Participants also learn how an atmospheric river is formed and why it is now more prevalent.
Drop-In is only available if space permitting; please register in advance.
